Bacchus Japan Tune-up Series

All JT series products are designed with the image of being ready for players to start using immediately, and each instrument is meticulously adjusted and set up at the dedicated Diviser department in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. Inheriting the spirit of Bacchus's top-of-the-line Handmade Series, which began in 2001, we deliver instruments that players can confidently entrust themselves to and that produce the best possible performance.

Bar Poplar Top with a color scheme that incorporates natural colors

The body top is adorned with burl poplar wood. Poplar is a tree mainly distributed in North America, but it is also a familiar wood in Japan, such as the poplar-lined streets of Hokkaido. This model is painted in a light color scheme that follows the KRB (Keiryu Blue) and SYP (Somei Yoshino Pink) color schemes that were previously released as limited editions in the Bacchus Handmade Series. Achieving a light-colored burst requires skill, but this model replicates the skilled painting techniques of the craftsmen at the Asuka factory, which manufactures domestic models.

Heel cut & back contour

The heel-cut structure, which eliminates the neck plate, provides excellent playability at the higher frets. Furthermore, the contoured back of the body ensures comfort even during extended playing sessions.

24 frets & stainless steel frets

This guitar features 24 frets with wear-resistant stainless steel frets. The jumbo-sized frets provide smooth fingering and extended sustain.

Maple fretboard with abalone inlay position markers

The fretboard is made of maple to match the body top's coloring, creating a soft and gentle overall appearance. The abalone inlay used for the position markers is visually stunning, and its shimmer changes depending on the viewing angle, adding an accent to the model's delicate color scheme.

Features locking pegs

It features a Locking Tuner (locking peg) mechanism where turning the wheel on the back of the peg raises a rod inside the string post, clamping the string and locking it in place. This dramatically improves tuning stability by reducing the number of windings on the string post.

Because it uses a clamping mechanism to hold the strings, it eliminates the need to wind the strings multiple times, which has the advantage of shortening string change time and reducing tension fluctuations.

Coil tap function & 2-stud tremolo unit

In addition to a coil-tap function that creates a pseudo-single-coil tone by toggling a mini-switch, it comes standard with a Wilkinson® 2-stud tremolo for smooth whammy bar use.
